When it rains it pours, so the saying goes. Well, for today’s application of this expression I recently had the pleasure of going to four weddings, three of the four were international weddings; all within the past month and a half. The travel bender began in New York and was soon followed by Mallorca, Spain, then Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, ultimately wrapping up in Oaxaca Mexico.
Weddings provide an excellent photography opportunity because they’re in beautiful locations, typically when the light is good and people are looking their best. Naturally, I can’t help but bring a camera or two along to snag a few shots. Toying with the “hired guns” aka the official wedding photographers is an added perk that I look forward to almost as much as capturing the moment they missed ;)
Here are the highlights from these recent travels and the weddings themselves...
Let's kick things off in Mallorca, Spain with the Peverill extravaganza!
Now off to upstate New York for my Cousin Tyler Wrights's wedding...
Though the government documents may be the same, each wedding is as unique as the sum of its attendees...soak in that glory!
Now, south of the border to Los Cabos Mexico for the Mengden wedding...
(bare with me on the formatting for a hot sec)
From one Mexico wedding to the next. I ended up doing back-to-back weekends in Mexico. Our last stop, Oaxaca Mexico for My Uncle Bruce Endsley's wedding.
Well, that's a wrap for 2024 weddings. I feel very fortunate to have been a part of each one and lucky to have traveled to so many beautiful locations.
If you or someone you know needs a wedding photographer or professional wedding crasher, you know what to do.
