Cars & Coffee

Every Saturday morning in Rancho Santa Fe, California (and many other places around the world), car enthusiasts, camera nerds, and coffee snobs gather for Cars & Coffee.

It's a ritual for many of the hardcore car fans, and it's hard to blame them. With so many eye-popping cars within blocks of each other, it's difficult not to have fomo knowing such a collection of vehicles exists only for a few hours, candidly in the streets. For others, the event is an escape from home, similar to the cyclists' or the golfers endeavors. Still others just happen upon it and can't believe their dumb luck.

One thing that always stands out at car events is the camaraderie. Despite some cars being worth millions and others only a couple thousand, the universal appreciation for the feeling of four wheels gripping the pavement levels the playing field. That, combined with being well caffeinated and on a sugar high from the obligatory pastry puts you in a pretty good place to start your Saturday; usually :P
